Poorvaja Sundar
Executive Director and Founder
As a dedicated advocate for policy and education, Poorvaja Sundar brings 5+ years of experience working in education both in India, and abroad. She currently serves as a Project Manager at the Research Partnership for Professional Learning at Brown University splitting her time along with working at Ikvanshu. She holds a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in finance and management from NMIMS, Mumbai.
Gaurav Jogal
Director of Strategy and Programs
Gaurav Jogal brings 5+ years of experience in education and livelihoods. Along with his work at Ikvanshu, he is a Strategy Enabler at Sols ARC which involves strategic thinking for implementing and scaling inclusive and livelihood systemic solutions. Gaurav is a Teach for India and Praja Fellow. He holds a Masters in Physics with research in astrophysics from Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Mumbai University.
Kavya
Fundraising and Grants Associate
Kavya brings 4+ years of experience in strategy, project management, financial modeling and analysis, and communications. Kavya is a graduate in Bsc Finance from NMIMS and is currently enhancing her financial expertise. In her spare time, Kavya loves to bake and hopes to start her own bakery one day!
Kishan
Website and Graphic Designer
Kishan is a graphic designer and web developer, set to graduate next year with a B.Com degree from NSM College. With a passion for creativity and a knack for learning, Kishan is currently honing their skills in graphic design, applying these techniques to real-world projects. He has a solid foundation in strategy, communications, and accounting, which enables them to bring a unique perspective to their work. When not designing, Kishan loves to draw!
Sneha Mahagaonkar
Program Manager
Sapno Ki Udaan Fellowship
Sneha is a committed social impact professional with over 5.5 years of experience in education, youth development, and community engagement. Currently the Program Manager for the Sapno Ki Udaan Fellowship at Ikvanshu Foundation, Sneha has previously coached school leaders as Program Lead at The Unifly Collective and served as a Fellow with Teach For India. She has worked with several organizations, including as an enumerator at Jai Vakeel Foundation, collaborated with Pratham Education Foundation to facilitate student workshops at learning camps, and contributed to pandemic response efforts as a Data Operator with BMC D Ward during COVID-19. Sneha brings a focus on leadership development, equitable education, and holistic development.
Yashas
Saarthi Program Manager
Yashas Srivatsan brings 7+ years of experience in public health. Along with his work at Ikvanshu, he is a Program a manager at MedExplain Health, a non-profit that focuses on creating medical content that is easy to understand. Yashas also has experience managing chronic care clinics for indigent populations and integrating menta health services into such a clinic. Yashas has a master of public health (MPH) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a bachelors of pharmacy from Nirma University.
